In 2020, before the official registration of Rushd Charity Foundation, the Rushd team partnered with Peaceland Foundation to support a large humanitarian initiative aimed at improving the nutrition of pregnant women and infants in Afghanistan.
Through this initiative, 7,199 aid packages containing a total of 43,194 cans of infant formula, weighing nearly 38.9 metric tons and valued at approximately USD 210,860, were prepared. The assistance included formula for pregnant women as well as specialized formula for infants from birth to six months of age. The supplies were allocated for distribution to eligible families through the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan.
The program aimed to improve maternal and infant nutrition while supporting vulnerable families facing economic hardship.
